One of the primary reasons for the U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish industry’s success is The Catfish Institute (TCI). The Catfish Institute was founded in 1986 by catfish feed mills and their producer members with the goal of raising consumer awareness about the benefits of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Today TCI, which represents catfish feed mills in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Louisiana, conducts promotional programs throughout the United States and Canada.
FCA is a Statewide, Non-Profit Organization established in 1934. It is devoted entirely and exlusively to promoting and protecting the ability of cattlemen members to produce and market their products.
CATFISH FARMERS OF AMERICA is a non-profit trade association that was formed in 1968 and is the United States strongest aquaculture organization. CFA is an association of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish producers, suppliers, processors and marketers. The purpose is to develop, stimulate and encourage harmony, goodwill and understanding among catfish farmers and to promote the general welfare of the U.S. catfish industry.
